Mijas has long been a haven for holidaymakers in Spain. It offers a rich variety of properties and proximity to some of the coast’s nicest beaches as well as to the resorts of Marbella and Fuengirola. Another asset is of course the Robert Trent Jones-designed Mijas Golf. Because the Mijas municipal district covers a large area stretching 12 kms along the sea and seven into the interior, ‘Mijas’ has come to mean two different places to different people.
